I love this quick and easy hairstyle, because I can wear it multiple days in a row, and the messier, the better! I was a dancer back in the day, and that’s the only reason I had the u-shaped hair pins already- IYKYK. I linked everything below that I used! What you need:

3/8” curling iron

clear elastic

u-shaped hair pins

Nice to have, but not necessary:

unite hair expanda dust

unite hair texturiza hair texturizing spray

steps:

1. section your hair and curl your hair in alternating directions

2. add expanda dust at your roots, and spray texturiza all over

3. gather hair into a loose pony on top of your head (leaving out a few front pieces) and secure with the elastic

4. use the bobby pins to create a messy bun - I add around 7 or 8 typically

5. add any additional curls around face or bun

6. pull and shape your bun until you are happy with it
