Skincare Faves

I never really had a true skincare routine since the beginning of 2020. After I was furloughed from my job for a few months, I had some spare time to actually try out some products and see what would work for me. I struggled with adult acne (detailed in another blog post) for as long as I have been an adult. Once I got my skin issues under control, I wanted to develop a skincare regimen and truly take care of my skin. I tried out several cleansers, toners, lotions, and serums, and finally found ones that I love. Linking all of my favorites below, or just click on the picture above to shop them all.

Clinique Cleansing Balm

This cleansing balm is amazing for removing makeup, and doesnโ€™t leave my skin feeling oily. I take about a spoonful size of product and rub it into my face until completely covered. Then, I use a warm cloth to remove the makeup and balm from my face. I also like Elemis's cleansing balm, but it does make my skin feel a bit oily.

Elemis Cleanser & Toner

I love this gentle balancing lime blossom cleanser and balancing lavender toner from Elemis! I used harsher cleansers in the past and realized that was a huge mistake. This combo works great for my skin and I feel super refreshed after using them.

Tula moisturizer & eye Balm

I jumped on the massively popular Tula bandwagon a few months ago, and I havenโ€™t looked back. There is a reason this brand is so popular! The 24/7 hydrating cream leaves my skin extremely soft and hydrated. I apply this eye balm multiple times a day, and even before bed. It depuffs and calms redness almost instantly.

Dermaroller & Vitamin C Serum

I use this dermaroller once or twice a week to help with acne scarring and to rejuvenate my skin. My skin texture has improved a ton, and I have definitely noticed improvements in scarring. I apply this vitamin c serum immediately after, and then follow up with the Tula moisturizer.
