Updated Everyday Makeup
I LOVE trying out new makeup and testing what works best for my skin type. These are all of the current products I use in my makeup routine - in order! For reference, my skin is slightly on the oily side, and these are just what work for me!
Moisturizer: I use a lightweight lotion instead of a primer, and my favorite is this one from La Roche-Posay. It’s not too heavy, and it creates the perfection base for foundation.
Foundation: A good foundation is probably my #1 most important product in my makeup routine. Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation is my holy grail and is amazing for my oily skin. I use the shade 5.9 Medium, Neutral.
Concealer: I loved Tarte’s Shape Tape for the longest time, but it left me with under eye lines that I didn’t love so I switched to the Hourglass Vanish™ Airbrush Concealer and now I have a new favorite! I use shade Oat 3.
Cream bronzer: Chanel’s Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream in Soleil Tan Bronze is still the BEST blendable bronzing cream I’ve ever used. I’ve also been switching off and using DIBS Beauty’s Desert Island Duo in shade 1 Out Of Office And Vacay Vibes. It’s super creamy and is such a convenient 2-in-1 bronzer and blush duo.
Setting powder: I try to use very little setting powder these days because I prefer a dewy finish. This Cloud Set Baked Setting & Smoothing Talc-Free Vegan Powder from Kosas removes shine, but doesn’t look cakey. I use the shade Airy - sheer very light, and apply it to my under eyes and my T-zone.
Powder bronzer: I used the Marc Jacobs Omega bronzer for FOREVER, but now thats its discontinued I use the Makeup by Mario SoftSculpt® Bronzer in the shade Medium - soft matte finish for light-medium to medium skin tones (warm golden), and its amazing!
Blush: When I’m not using the DIBS blush, I switch off between the Saie Dew Blush Liquid Cheek Blush in the shade Poppy - bright coral, and the Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Melting Cream Blush in the shade Nearly Apricot - muted coral.
Eyeshadow: Once I find an eyeshadow palette I love, I rarely switch it up. I’ve been using the Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette - Pillow Talk Collection for over a year now! I love that it only has 4 shades and it makes my eyes pop.
Eyebrow pencil: I like my eyebrows to have definition but not look overly filled, and i love the realistic look the Precisely, My Brow Pencil Waterproof Eyebrow Definer by Benefit Cosmetics gives me!
Eyebrow setting gel: I switch between the 24-HR Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel with Lamination Effect by Benefit Cosmetics and the Brow Sculpt Shape and Hold Gel with Lamination Effect by REFY. LOVE both.
Setting spray: I’ve been using the same setting spray for years for a reason! The All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray by Urban Decay really does last ALL NIGHT.
Mascara: The last step of my everyday makeup routine is mascara. I switch between a few kinds but I always go back to the Lash Sensational Mascara by Maybelline.
