Quarantine Life in 2020
Obviously this year has been a doozy…. so I figured why not document what I’ve been up to in quarantine life! Right now everything seems crazy + uncertain. We all want to do our best to move on and go back to the way things were before COVID-19. Thinking about that, I don’t believe things will ever be the same again after the year we’ve had! When I’m old and telling my grandchildren about what happened in 2020, I can at least look back and remember some good memories, like when everyone decided to start wearing tie-dye sweat suits - HAHA!
Here’s a little timeline of my year in 2020:
January
Celebrating New Year’s with friends, less than 6 feet apart. I miss those days…..
February
Attended my first rave to see Excision, worry-free about being in a crowd full of people
March
The “ tie-dye everything in my closet” phase
*Also the beginning of the Stay-at-Home order in MN as Coronavirus spreads
April
The “I could totally get used to staying at home” phase.
*This month was also the short-lived period when everyone was on House Party and doing virtual happy hours
May
The “workout at home” phase
*This was also short-lived and was quickly followed by the baking phase
June
The “redecorate my entire apartment” phase
Sitting at home 24/7 really makes you evaluate your interior design decisions
July
The “I need to get outside I’m going stir-crazy” phase
Kayaking, fishing, hiking, golfing, you name it, I probably did it
August
The “I’m finally going to start a blog” phase ;)
September
My birthday month….spent quarantining with a drink at the pool. Not too bad of a birthday if you ask me!
October
Spooky season was extra spooky this year with the second wave of Covid…. but Halloween is my favorite holiday so of course I still dressed up!
November
Thanksgiving looked a little different this year, with only being able to visit immediate family, but at least we got our holiday pictures done!
December
Adding a cold, snowy winter to a pandemic made 2020 even less pleasant. I think everyone and their mother was extremely over COVID-19 at this point LOL.
