My Top 10 Fall Fashion Staples

2020 fashion has been a LITTLE different as we adjust to this new (hopefully temporary) way of life. While I foresee comfy loungewear and two-piece lounge sets continuing to be a trend in the near future, I am also loving a few other staples in my closet that I’ve been working into my daily wardrobe. Since I am home more often than not these days, I feel like I have a lot more time to find unique fashion finds and purge through old clothes I’ll never wear again. I am trying to be careful not to throw away pieces that I KNOW will come back in style in a few years, (AKA combat boot revival in 2020). I love that nothing is truly off the table for making a comeback, since I LOVE a good vintage find. Below are my TOP 10 staple pieces for Fall 2020!
Statement Sweaters
Just because its cold out, doesn’t mean you need to throw on an old lumpy sweater. This one has the cutest fringe and lattice detail that makes it unique!
Combat boots
Combat boots have made a huge comeback, and I am here for it! A pair of these will be sure to elevate any outfit.
Faux Leather Leggings
These have been a staple of mine year after year! They are flattering and give any outfit a little edge.
Corduroy
Corduroy is such a fun texture and just feels so nostalgic for me. I remember wearing corduroy dresses when I was little and I love that its in style again!
Sherpas & Shades
Sherpa is not only warm, but also a huge fashion trend. Pair your sherpa with some oversized sunnies and leggings and you are ready to go!
the “shacket”
Is it a shirt or a jacket?? Both! LOL love that I can throw this on when its a little chilly, but not quite cold enough for a full-on winter jacket.
Felt hat, flannel, & white boots
This is a 3-in-1 because why not wear them all at the same time?! Felt hats are the perfect finishing touch to complete an outfit, while flannel is just such a classic staple for fall. White boots have become super popular lately, and I am glad we can all agree its okay to wear white after Labor Day ;).
